Easy Brownies


Ingredients:
3/4 cup melted margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 to 1 cup flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend margarine, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, beat 1 minute. Add flour,
cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix until blended. Batter will be stiff.
Bake at 350 in well greased 8 inch baking pan for 45 minutes (do not over bake,
this recipe may cook faster depending on your oven. Cool. May be iced with
brownie icing if desired. ALWAYS SUPERVISE IF YOU ARE WORKING WITH CHILDREN,
they can help with getting ingredients, mixing, and icing. Oooo, I can see the fun mess already! May be topped with MM's or sprinkles. These are cake like brownies, for a more gooey brownie decrease the eggs to 2.

Brownie icing:
3 tbsp. butter, softened
3 tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
1 tbsp. light corn syrup or honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 to 2 tbsp. milk

Cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla in small mixer bowl. Add confectioners sugar and milk; beat to spreading consistency. Makes about 1 cup frosting.
